Inking Science is a collection of illustrations and stories of 31 scientists, thinkers, and innovators who have changed the world we live in.
This work is the combined result of Valentina’s love of illustration and Valerie’s love of storytelling—along with their joint love of research and promoting science.
It is also the result of the 76 awesome supporters who backed the project on Kickstarter.
Valerie is a science communicator.
She got a PhD in Life Science from the University of Dundee.
And while she likes science and engineering, what she likes even more is talking about them.
She is tall, nerdy and clumsy (not necessarily in that order); she loves LEGO, travelling and
her blue ukulele Bruno.
